well guys, jus fitted my new lambda sensor (post)in 2day. as old was totaly fried!
No the car feels like its has no power. The car use 2spin in 1st gear when you take off hard and some times in 2nd.
feels like its runnin on pure engine power!

on the diagnostic there no new fault codes that have come up!

Any suggestions! im getting broke spenindg all my money on repairs than mods

throttle body reset should be done too... but worth checking MAF with logging too

oh, i jus remove the battery cable and reconnect the it to reset trottle.

well how can i check the maf is working? there were no fualts that come vag.com
how can i check on vag.com that its is working? what reading am i expecting?
Its a 1.8T (forge 007pdv, vipercross filter).

TB reset, when the engine is cold & on a level surface disconnect the batter for 20 mins...

reconnect the battery, turn ignition key to 'lights on' for 10 mins & wait while the TB adjusts (should hear a clicking from it)

cycle ignition & start car

I'd check MAF logs, a dieing MAF won't log a fault - it'll just wait until it's completely shot.

002 is your block to log airflow - chipped LC should see ~170g/s

shall i just spray it in? or use a cottton bud? the sensor inside looks as its covered by platic surrond in the tube.? any suggestion how to get around it?

Remove the whole plastic tube with the sensor still in it. Put it in a strong clean clear (preferably sealable = freezer bag) plastic bag. Pop some IPA in, swish about gently. Remove, leave to dry for an hour or so. Reinstall.

Unless you've had six MAFs like me - in which case you'll have a number of the protective plastic end caps they come with. Then, you just pur one cap on and fill the little ****er up like a bottle. (Touch wood, my MAF problems have been solved for a year now.)

Personally, I'm not convinced that cleaning a MAF is worthwhile - and if they're *u**ed, they're f****d.

yep you need a new n75 ( make sure its plugged in 1st) its the boost control solenoid

what do exactly mean? it has 3 pipes goin in and a connector. i 1st plug the pipes and then the connector!

can this mess up the turbo? if i foot the car with faulty n75?

If you change the N75, go for an N75J rather than the version you have currently (probably an N75F or a C if memory serves). You'll get a good increase in boost without throwing into limp mode! Did it with my S3 a couple of years back - well worth the £45!
