Noise on boost :s,

Hi guys , Im sorry its not an LCR, However my s3 has developed a strange noise, Its been mapped about 3 weeks fine .

Driving home from work today was fine all well and good i was granny driving anyway. Then i got home and took my friend for a spin as he hadn't been in my s3 before.

On full boost i heard a noise that can only be described as a prelonged beep :S, It sounded almost electrical but quite high pitched :S.

It only does it under full boost just strikes me as odd . Any suggestions.

Ive posted on the audi forums but as you guys are switched on with these engines thought id have a bash,, Its an APY engine if thats helps cheers . I made a video thanks to the wonders of iphone, If anyone could shed some light would be great am a little worried it sounds expensive ..

boost leak , have a check of all your intercooler connections,

comes on at full revs, on a recently mapped car, too much of a coincidence., sound travels, whats it like with the windows down??

does sound like a intercooler pipe has come off?

best thing is to drive easy and get it on some ramps check it over soon as you can.
