I have an FR 150 2013 with 24000 miles.

Last week I did a journey of 350 miles, which was fine and I didn't push the car as there were to many roadworks.

The next morning when I started my journey to work i noticed the engine seemed really loud when I was gently accelerating between 1500/2000 revs after which the noise goes. I have not lost any power and it drives fine just noisy. It sounds like an old tractor.

It is going into the dealer on Wednesday, but my worry is I am driving to Spain next weekend.

I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this noise?

I wouldn't worry about the nature of the engine, chances are it may of changed after the trip due to oil consumption. Have you checked the oil?

Diesels aren't smooth running engines anyway as we all know.

Mines noisy around the doors especially just below 30 in third gear. It seems to settle down once it goes into fourth and gets above 30.
