Noisy rattle in the roof

car suspension is pretty hard and bumps or rumble strips produce a loud rattle in the roof... any ideas what this could be before i take the lining down?

I have the same problem i will prob take the roof lining off at weekend will let you no if i do it.

it will be the wire. some good old duck tape to hold it still will work

ive had this rattle before aswell as a few others...

it turned out to be the brace that goes across the centre of the roof from the b pillars was viabrating against the roof itself...

just wedged some card in there but of duct tape and been fine ever since...

if you tap the roof from the outside in the middle you should be able to tell where its coming from...

spot on mate! just went out tapped the roof and it sounds exactly like the noise ive been hearing! When i drop the lining ill sort the cable too just to be on the safe side!

Any guides on lining removal or tips from you guys that have done it?
