Noisy water pump?

Sorry for the noob question buts its all a bit new to me.

After the car has been driven and you stop and get out you can hear a watery sound and a noise like a pump running.

Should it be doing that?

Yeah it's normal, it's the secondary water pump to cool the turbo down slowly

Yep, its from the front of the car, just behind the front bumper grille - its the secondary electric waterpump.

Its purpose is to keep circulating coolant round the turbo for 10 minutes or so after you turn off the engine.

Ill be disconnecting mine, if it running and i close bonnet it makes the most bitch noise ever!

If i even go over a speed bump or boot it in 1st gear - itll give alittle whine!
