Normal rear lights?

Hey, I bought my first ibiza last week, its the facelift 1.8t FR and I love it.

The only things i'm not keen on are the back lights, they remind me of lexus light and i had a saxo before this car and every other saxo I saw which had lexus lights made me cringe.

So I was wondering if anybody knows of any aftermarket lights you can buy that are more like regular rear lights such as the mk5 ibiza's rear end?

There are others out there, but I think the standard solution that people normally choose is to tint them? Seen it on a couple of the RR threads on here and looks pretty mint to be honest...

Yeah, I tinted the rear lights on the sax that I had, just wanted to do something a bit different this time, try to keep it looking more oem, but not haha. My car is red aswell so if I got some more 'traditional' looking lights I think they would match the car quite well.
I'll have to keep searching haha.

Well, I have an FR, which had the FR lights originally obviously, the prvious owner has put in the lower model lights (the lower picture) as they are red so match the car more IMO but the far right light has been broken at some point so its got one odd FR light back in.
I thought because I'm gonna have to buy a new light so it matches, I might have a look round to see if I could get any less 'blingy' lookin ones and replace the whole set, the standard ones just aint to my taste..

Same in my Cupra buddy, I thought the standard lights look ****. Search for the SportRider lights, may have a pick in my thread of them, slightly tinted as standard.

Any lights you get for the Ibiza will look like the ones you have. Cupra/FR have silver backs and lower models have red backs. Only thing you can do is fit LaminX or flyeyes to tint them a bit!

Yeah, will probs just go down the tinting road, if i used red tint, I wouldnt want em to look a bit.. pink but i dont want em too dark either. I think I'm a bit OCD to be honest haha.

I had the red lights in as standard swooped them for sportsrider lights more darker red looks better I think

i'll have a look for some sportriders then, pretty hard to come by cheap second hand lenses. just bought the car and still owe my dad almost a grand so gotta go pretty easy on the spendin!

EdiT: didn't see u mention that u have the red, pre-facelift lights.. Thought it was the clear FR/cupra lights

thing is i dont have a full set of lights, thats why i'm sortin em out in the first place, all the rear lamps are the base model lights except the far side drivers piece which is the black/chrome fr/cupra light. so i dont think youd want an incomplete set of lights would you?

does anyone have pics of all these lights? i was told there are 4 types or rear lights.

1, prefacelift
2, facelift
3,FR
4, Cupra

i myself was thinking of getting FR lights as the silver would match the silver of my car or maybe the sportrider ones as slightly smoked would lok cool aswell.

can anyone put up any of these lights in pics?

Oh, well 3 types makes it a bit easier. I have pre facelift with red backs. What does a facelift have then? Is it like a sportrider? Slightly smoked ?
