Hmm that was what mine was doing and it was a duff thermostat - not sure if it's any different on diesels but on my car it was affecting fuelling and MPG a bit.

Fair enough but even so, assuming the diesel is set up to work at the same temp as the petrol, if you're never getting above about 80 then I'd say your thermostat is still shot. In my case it was causing me to run lean at medium to high RPM, causing timing pull, poor mileage and loss of performance.

still thinking of buying the stuff , ran out of space on my htc desire tho . awaiting a custom rom to allow the phone to think the sd card is the phone memory , before i can download the torque app

my temp does reach 90 on the car display , do have poorer mpg than most , i assumed it was my lead shoes but got me thinking , any other symptons for a fault colant sensor then ??

Have you checked it with the heater control to amke sure that's getting to 90?

Ive just got my bluetooth adaptor delivered and connected it to my phone and i gotta say im blown away, i paid for the full Torque app after i confired it connected to my Audi and im so glad i did as the app is awesome. I couldnt get boost to read on the lite version but will be playing with it on the full version later.

The track camera is amazing!

It is a cool app, and it gets better all the time - I've seen loads of new features and stuff in the while I've had it so it pays to keep it up to date.

My boost readings dont seem to be correct, thought it might be reading plus atmospheric pressure so adjusted that and it still seems out.

Im sure boost and vac are calculated via MAF as it cannot read the MAP sensor directly.

This on an A4 PD130. Not tried it on my ibiza yet, but the track camera is going to get a hammering on using my Desire HD.

Are you using the Pro version Phil? Mine recently updated and has started to read anything upto -7PSI on idle. Being a diesel, they should read as near to 0PSI on idle as possible!

On the free version it reads 0PSI, +- 0.1PSI so I think it is a bug in the latest Pro version. I'll report it to Ian (developer) tonight or tomorrow.

Boost reading doesn't work right on my LCR either. Before I got it remapped it was showing peaks of 1.9bar. Now I've had Revo stage 1 put on the car I see peaks of 3.3bar! There's no way the turbo could generate or cope with that much boost and Vagcom logs from before the remap show a far more likely peak of 1.1 so something's wrong with the logic in Torque there.

There is a setting for boost value adjustment in the vehicle profile setting but I couldn't see that this made much difference in my case. Anyone had any luck with it?

Yeah im on the full version now, need to check the read values from vag com.

The boost reading is the one im not sure is right, the manifold pressure just says 255kpa, which is why i think its calculated boost value from MAF, which i know it can do.
