Thats pure class (That link) Least after he drained it he could have a drink for the success of it haha typical yank me thinks :)

I'm keen on using this to correct some knock, has anyone actually done some logging to prove a beneficial effect?
Also which ones best to use?

You only getting knock after a good trashing Willie? You could dial out 0.75* of timing with unisettings and see if this solves it? I used Millers CVL Turbo when on the continent to keep my octane high. 95RON plus the additive and I got no knock despite being set up for maximum advance using 99RON.

The best thing you could do is fill a truck wash bottle with cold water and a bag of ice and spray the intercoolers before each run if you have a front mount that is and don't run the car excessivly before each run. That would see you the most gain!

Race fuel is fair enough but how safe is this on my 104,000 mile engine.

I want to improve/lessen knock not go balls to the wall.

Danny, I'm only logging when doing 4th gear runs, this is when I'm seeing a bit of knock.
I didn't see this before when logging with new map on so suspect its knock due to quality of fuel. I have always and will always use V Power.
I don't know much about OB's but would like to know more about this and where and when it can benefit me and my application.
There's lots of posts on this on various other forums with other engine but not alot about this on this forum for our engines, it always good to have things in print so others can benefit from the information too.
For just now I want to buy a bottle of OB to try and sort out my knock issue then I'll take things from there whether it be 102 BP, full on race fuel, methanol/toluene addition etc etc
