O2 spacer has arrived in preparation for the decat,

Contemplating an 80mm tip as well as possibly lowering on springs/shocks. Hear weitecs are good.

Also need to log the car and see if I can get uni settings to work with my map, as I'm no longer part of custom code.

Fitted this aft, scorpion decat with draft 42 decat, sounds well. Not overly loud either
 
Rear brakes arrived, as have my oem wishbone bushes. Was going to get the updated poly bushes but in the end thought against it.

Then spent the morning machine polishing the car,

Car was washed last night in the new autoglym cherry shampoo, think California scents smell,

Then this morning masked up, sorry no blue tape ;)

The process was 3m green top fast cut plus, with Indasa yellow pad,
3m yellow top, on autoglym soft pad, then waxed with the new autoglym radiant wax, windows and wheels sealed and dressed all rubbers

Then last night realised that unisettings works with my mtm map so upped the fuelling and timing and then logged the car for a full health check, the map is very torqy but not huge bhp, in 3rd I was maxing g/s at just under 200 so about 250 ish but drives so well

jake maybe you can give me some advice...i have a mk1 TT 225. same BAM engine as yours in the R.... im getting a high rough idle. we cleaned (which wasnt even dirty) the throttle body. i feel the car isnt pulling as well as it should. also when pulling away feels laggy. any ideas? only had it 2 months or so, not sure how or what its been previously treated too. just doesnt feel right imo
 
do you have acess to vagcom at all?

When yo did the tb did you re align it propperly. Can be a whole host of things from split vac pipes etc to faulty maf.

Interested in what rear brakes you have gone for, also what was the reason for standard bushes? Just your preference?

Just uprated grooved discs with oem pads, the back don't do huge amounts so no need to go crazy.

Bushes wise I have read they can be stiff. Transfer engine vibration and squeak. So stuck to oem. I have already lifted the idle to stop vibrations coming from just the dog bone mount, just not fancying fitting them
Haha. Going to do the brakes and bushes all together I hope also think the exhaust is knocking a bit after replacing a hanger.
