Oil changes between 10k?

Anyone else doing this? 10k seems an awfully long time between changes.

Mine had a change at 39k, then the 40k service minus a change, now on 46k.

i have been given mine oil and filter change every 5k...worth it IMO.

Change the oil as often as you want, the more the better to a certain point. Obviously it wouldnt be worth doing it every 1k but no harm in changing it every 5k etc. Depends if you got the time and money

Use motul 15w50 300v if i were you, its about 60 quid for 6 L from Bill.

I spent alot of time deciding, and i will stock up very shortly on it.

iv used it fine no complaints..20quid ish for 4.5l
would have got the Vag special by castrol though if i had the chance, cant remember wot its called longlife or something

wouldnt bother changing under 8-10k though not unless u spend alot of time at the red line...seems a waste of money

i change my oil every 5K, gotta b worth it. I use quantum synth gold (fully sinthetic oil) Got it from the dealer, think it was 5.5L for £18, VW rated
