oil in intercooler pipes

I have a similar problem with my Ibiza, took the charge pipe off and there was a fair bit of oil in there, ended up dripping down the turbo and onto the floor 9so a decent amount) also was a fair amount sitting in the hotside of the intercooler...
Next thing was that I have a catch can, I've only done 500 miles and it was half full with very watery oil. I've recently rebuilt the engine, just wanted to know if it was something I've done wrong, car drives very well, boosts nicely and I have no blue or white smoke coming from the exhaust.
Anyone have any ideas?
