Hi folks. Have a 2011 Seat Ibiza 1.6 TDI. Red oil light appears and beeps from time to time. Sometimes it stays flashing for 2- seconds, other goes away after 3 seconds. Short journeys never trigger it - usually 20 or so minutes into a drive. Drove her for 2 hours once and it happened very very often. Been an issue for weeks now. Oil level always spot on when checked.
Got it checked a couple of days ago, oil pressure is fine, got the oil filter changed but it's still happening. Very annoying. Car serviced back in March and oil levels all good. I see a few people have this issue as well. Any help or indication would be much appreciated: thank you.
