however it did turn (didnt start tho). Altho I did speak to a mechanic that i trust and he said try to get it to turn to see if its seized, but I didnt fancy doing it !!
Quick question? Have you got coilovers, if so wind them up and argue the point that it isnt that low. Also yeh the engine might turn over but top end damage, by any chance did u see 5th gear, they ran a car with no oil in last night, lasted about 1.5miles of being thrashed around a track before that seized up, if you switched it off quick enough light as soon as the oil light came on then hopefully all should be ok. But fingers crossed for you mate. Let us know how you get on with it.
nasty! i did the same thing to mine a couple of months ago! the sump ias £80 + some change, only available from the stealers thou.
took me about an hour to do it in my driveway, piece of p**s as long as you've got a set of long allen keys and some commonsense!! ha ha

ok now I'm pi**ED they havent actually got the part yet!!!!!!!!!! I know they didnt order the part till yesterday and I took the car in Tuesday, this is taking the pi**!! I havent got a car and I work 80 miles away so theres no way I can get to work and well as I havent been there long its not looking good for me
apparantly the parts ordering system has been down since Tuesday???!?!? Do you think they would give me a courtesy car? If not then I need to hire one because I really have to goto work next week

wohoooo its fixed cant pick it up till Sat when I'm back in Bristol though....
When they took it for a test drive after fitting the new sump coil pack 1 decided to kick the bucket as well and I'm about 17 days out of coil pack warranty lol fs!!
