Okay... wiper problems.

Okay, I fitted a mk5 golf rear wiper, fine. Went to use use it, and it's leaving an area of the window un-wiped, in that area right in the middle of my rear window that you really need... any idea's anyone?

did you trim the centre cap?

the centre cap (covers the fixing nut and washer jet) is to big this scapes the glass causing the wiper arm to lift check see if this is the problem with yours.

Nope, its not that. Got a nice 1mm+gap all the way round I applied a little pressure to the wiper arm and it worked perfectly. what else could it be?

is it a new part? Maybe it has a faulty spring? I only had experience with the fabia conversion.

it was BNIB, from eBay though... might be the spring, might be able to 'adjust' it. Meh, we'll see.
