Hey guys and girls

Here's a teaser for you.

My Mk2 tolly has just started to:-

1 Passenger side rear door wont open/unlock(Lock button doesnt pop up) and if you try to open from inside then handle pulls but button quickly drops back in.
No previous problems.

2 When locking with central locking fob all doors lock and red light activates at drivers door lock but no indicators. Only get indicators if I lock with key or when I unlock doors(except passenger rear door)

I have read othe rposts on this but none seem to be of my problem

I had a similar problem on my pass side rear door on my Leon . The door was deadlocked , if you tried the interior/exterior handle the button would pop up but it would`nt open . I had to have a new central locking mechanism & latch assembly £76 + vat . At least there was no damage to the door , as they had to get the panel off while it was locked

New development seems to be intermittent, went out today all ok.
then this evening same thing again.
Wonder should I take door panel off next time its working and have a look?

In a bizarre SEAT lock kind of twilight zone, the passenger door lock operates if I use key in boot lock! however once it is opened the dammed thing wont lock again.

sounds like the you need a new passenger side door lock. however the drivers door lock controls all the central locking so it could be buggered as well.
