Meant to add I took the Cupra for a 4 wheel alignment on a hunter setup, it was spot on from the factory, dead true, camber, toe as expected nothing to change was perfect, quite a difference to when I had my GT86 on a similar system it needed quite a bit of adjustment.

Quick Wash after track day and a Charity Run last week, the door seal has now been done and looks to have sorted the ingress.

Tried out Juicy Details Apple Bomb Shampoo and their Bubblegum Fast Wax, pleased with the results from both.

Looking good, I meant to do mine today but it pee'd down all morning so went for a drive instead now it's even dirtier lol

Couple of additions over the last week

Replaced all 4 tyres with these, very early indications are better traction have only used them in damp but seems pretty impressive.

Much thanks to those they have given advice to posts I put up and from posts I'd read but not necessarily added to, been a great source of information and thoughts. There's no doubt I'd have another Leon/Seat in future having had three Mk3's Leons an Ibiza and Toledo in the past.

I shall pop up to the Cat and Fiddle Meet and will pop in every now and then and see what's going on.

I did a track day at Kirkistown in the mk1 110 bhp tdi leon remapped and bigger injectors to 165 bhp and 380 Nm and the wee elises only just crept past me up the main straight and I had to lift off well before the hairpin braking area for them to get past safely. I couldn't hold on to their coat tails at all really, in the bends. My tyres and suspension were standard/non fancy but even if they had been the elises still would've pulled out on me and I know how to drive and take a car to it's limit. The gauging of braking points wasn't quite so eloquently executed :drive2::D

Anyhow looks really nice. I'd have it on two wheels everywhere.

thanks we took a few long test drives and also a couple passenger rides on track before commiting. I've not driven far yet, though it does feel good in the corners :)
