A little off topic but, is the Seat factory a 24/7 plant ie do they make cars at the weekends too, also process all the shipment and delivery times etc at the weekends??
Just off the phone from Dealer..Our car is in the dock and dealer hopes to get it in roughly a week!!!! Waiting for a email of Registrations numbers from him so we can choose its plate..
Only downside is they were too late removing the IPod from the order so we've lost the Aux in..Cheesed off with that as was told months ago they had took it of the order upside is we dont have to pay for it..

I doubt it, though they probably do run shifts. But given they are trying to increase profits and reduce production at the moment I doubt they work weekends.
Odd - do you know the exact date yours was built? Mine was week thirteen (built on the wed) and I've been told won't be arriving at port until the 19th. This was confirmed with seat by phone as it wasn't showing on the system as having even got on the boat yet.

Dont know the exact date but was defo week 13 and dealer said yesterday its in the dock, they reckon about a week for them to get it and a couple of days for the extras to be done..should be able to pick it up towards the end of April.
What factory options did you go for??
We had Bluetooth, Convenience pack, front air bag disablement and found out yesterday Ipod too which we had been promised had been removed from our order as we decided against it so its tough now got to have it!!!
Bluetooth and convenience pack are the options.
If you do speak to your dealer and don't mind asking, they should be able to tell you from the system the day it was built. Mine was on the Wed of that week, and seems odd if mine is on a different boat running a week later?? Unless yours was built on the Monday and a boat ran not long after of course.

I'll ask next time i ring ..been waiting for a email since yesterday on number plates..did you have the winterpack removed from our order coz if u did u should be getting a free tomtom

Just asked dealer about build dates and ours was built on Mon 26th March and shipped from factory on weds 28th March so looks like yours did miss the boat

Cheesed off though as dealer said on friday Ipod was put on as they were too slow in getting it removed from the order and today found out the the front air bag disablement we requested has not been done for the same reason..gutted as dealer said ages ago that it was a.o.k.![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
