The Revo map would have overwritten and removed the checksum error anyway pal.

The Revo file available will match the latest standard software revision thus avoiding the fault.

That's the route I'm going down. Just waiting back on Awesome.
APR have all the OEM binary files so I can get S0020 applied with the latest map.

Sorry i'm french ^^

Hello everyone, I allow myself to relaunch the debate following your posts which have helped me in my breakdown without getting out of it, I explain:
AUDI TT 2.0 TFSI 200cv

overnight the error P0601 appeared (checksum error) in the computer but the engine starts all the same without rising above 2000 rpm and stalls after a few minutes

Replacement of the ECU by cloning without success, flash of the ECU with original AUDI soft reinjection also without success

Replacement of the two lambda sensors without success

The mechanic's theory is that there is an electronic problem and a mechanical problem because the cheksum error fault should prevent the engine from starting battery Ok but I want to change the ace anyway to be sure.

What to do? any suggestions for an avenue to explore? thank you

I am not aware of the check-sum error preventing the engine from starting in the research I did, my engine ran normally with the EPC and EML on? As a check-sum is a software corruption problem and you have had yours re-flashed, then possibly, on your car the problem is a faulty ECU?

Try checking on Ross-Tech (link on previous page) for more information.

Hello thank you for your answer unfortunately I have already changed the ECU, I suspect a short-circuit in the harnesses which causes the fault at each ECU reflash or maybe the battery even if it seems good to me

Did you replace the ECU but clone the old ECU onto the new one??

If you did then have you not copied the error as well?
