Is it an fr with dsg? If so you would need the setup from the previous fr/ cupra in order to get the paddles, and then swap it into your car. I guess it would then need wired. It would probably cost more than its worth tbh.

Air intake would probably only improve engine noise.
If you have DSG you can install the paddle shifters also, some guy on a dutch forum did it. Think you need to buy the steeringwheel (with paddles), one extra cable and do some VCDS settings.

I imagine that paddles would be pretty dear because I think you do indeed need to buy the whole wheel and setup would probably be a few hundred as well.
For power, a remap would probably be your best and most cost effective bet :)

You will need to purchase a Cupra/Fr steering wheel and probably the loom. That could be very costly.

Should of just ordered the car with it.

No, alot cheaper. You can find a steeringwheel on Ebay. Here is a quote from the dutchguy that did it on his 1.2TSI;

-He bought a Boc steeringwheel for 120euro on ebay (can be found for 120~300, depends on your luck)
-Airbag adapterkabel, which can be bought for 50euro at the dealer, but some wheels on ebay already have those.
-rebuild, have to put the airbag in the new steeringwheel (if you bought one without), place the new adapterkabel, and then add some extra wire and add the setting in VCDS.

He spend around 200euro... (which is like 160pound?)
VAGTechniek is an enthusiastic garage, they do all kinds of OEM mods for people for reasonable prices. So you might have to spend a bit more at the dealer if you have it installed there.

second hand obviously cheaper but the steering wheel new is about 500+ quid, then you have the cost of someone installing it, i'd say about a grand is what i would budget new and about 600 2nd hand.
