Paint code question

hey all, im going to colour code a few things on the leon.. but need the paint code.. so i did a search on here and found where to get the code from. but im not sure if its the right code i have or not. just wondering if anyone can confirm it for me.

the code is L57U and my car is a kinda grey/platinum colour... (see avatar for rough idea)

just wondered if this looked about right for a paint code as i havent a clue on this matter..

Did you look in the boot under the cover overt the spare wheel ? its usually on the left on a white sticker

yeah mate looked there.. but there was about 5million 4 digit codes all next to each other

Pretty sure from other threads it's S7U.

I'd double check that 5 you have, I think it's an S.

The Luna Grey is S7Y and Arctic Grey is S7N.

Hi Mate, L57U is Platinum Grey. There are sites on ebay who'll mix it or the bigger Halfords will oblige. Hope this helps.

on the left hand side of the sticker it says what each code is for.....the same sticker is also stuck in the front of the service book.

Platinum Grey is S7U I made the mistake of thinking the S was a 5 and the dealer and also Halfords couldn't find it.

You will find the paint code on the sticker in the spare wheel well Andy.
