Cheers fellas. yeh im going for VRS calipers, gunna do the rear badge when i figure out how to get it off, myt do the engine cover, see what that looks like and thinking of number plate surrounds, not 100% on that yet.

nah, havnt really had chance to have a good look, i think its just 3 screws then pull but any insite would be great. 
yer there is to screws behind the flaps then theres one in side the handle then remove the cover near the lach and theres 2 more there then pull it of becarefull not to brake any clips like me then ya have to pop the bar of the lach its a little ball joint then undo the nuts think theres 3 and i think ther 10mm.my boot trim is in the spare room still not had chance to fit itprob do it in the week cause doin a full service on my car for winter changin brake fluid and coolant i think also ordered my fr rear lights should be hear wednesday

Before you do your back badge im gona warn you.. Iv seen a few people with it done... and they have mostley said they dont like it! , It just looks odd... If i were you id keep the back s silver dont go ott or you might regret it =/ ... Less is more!

i have painted the surround on mine red and soon going to get a professional to fit gloss black film exact to the seat badges front and rear. shud only cost a few quid because he just pays for the sheet of vinyl. Will get some pics when its done

oh my god ive ad ago with that black vinyl so hard to cut ended so binin that one
it went alright when i did it i used really thin vinyl to do mine and it cut really easy try usin a hair dryer to warm it up its even easyer that way.Iv just removed the tdi of my engine cover and vinyled the shiney bit cause it looked odd as iv painted my engine cover my battery cover and my air box in gloss black so a bit of matt black splits it up a bit.
sorry if this a repeat, im looking to do mine like altech's as got red calipers and going for a red theme inside....does the silver S pop off, leaving you with the black surround...i presume you just mask the grill behind and spray with paint?
i did mine while i was waiting for my mirrors to dry, rushed it abit tbh, ah well
