Hi!

Got a 2017 Facelift Leon FR 150. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the park sensor display to show on the infotainment? I think it's referred to as 'Park Pilot' is that correct?

At the moment we just get the good ol' fashioned beeps :)

Cheers

Hi,
Did you ordered the parking pack ?
Sound like you have aftermarket parking sensors.

Also maybe you have a 'P' button with radio waves on the central console, if you do than this should bring the park pilot screen.

No I just have a standard 2017 FR. It comes with rear parking sensors as standard from the factory!

The facelift FR only has sound as standard and no display. Mine is the same. The display only comes activated with park pack. However I've read in other threads on here that it can be activated by vcds or obd 11

My 66 also didn't have the park pilot but I activated it via obdeleven, very easy to do so you should see if there's anyone with one local to you

Yes, it can be activated via vcds however I think that it will not reflect the parking sensors proximity to objects on the display because they are not connected to the MIB and the factory sensors are.

Does the proximity is actually displayed?
Or you just see this image and nothing more ?

Yes it's displayed, I tried to trigger it with a bag but it was too low so I gave up but it 100% works as a directional proximity sensor, will take another picture tomorrow if I remember

Thanks for your answer it is really helpful, I will definitely try it when my VCDS software and cable arrives :)

It makes me wonder, why would SEAT disable this screen for cars that equipped with factory installed parking sensors ?!

There's lots you can enable that you ask yourself the same question haha. I've done park pilot, one click folding mirrors, needle sweep, disabled the stupid ignition alarm. All things you'd like to think would at least be menu options but aren't haha

There's plenty of stuff on the OBDEleven modifications thread although I've noticed the facelift (mine at least) has a lot of mods done as standard.

Activated parkpilot display with vcds short while ago, everything is working except 1 thing. It doesn't get off the display once taken out reverse gear. There is a massive delay, im wondering if a setting is available to alter delay time

I think the delay in PP screen disappearing is due to the car being in 'manoeuvring mode'. My 2015 FR does the same and came with front and rear sensors etc as standard. The screen reverts to previous once I'm moving at about 10mph (roughly the same time as the auto locking locks the doors)
