Hi all!

Unfortunately, I need to repair and repaint the right rear door. The plastic trim got damaged and needs to be replaced, and I can't find the part number anywhere. Does anyone know what exactly I should be googling for? I got a quote of 112 euro from the official distributor in Bulgaria, so I am wondering if there are alternatives.

Any pointers are much appreciated!

Cheers!

The parts catalogues come and go I was referencing one on the boot floor / spare wheel thread. You could look at that. If it's specific to the Cupra Ateca rather than Ateca if might not apply. Basically the free to look at online parts catalogues tend to operate out of Russia where they have "borrowed" the VAG material then index parts sellers off them. My interpretation. There is a parts sponsor of this board named on that thread and another you could contact.

Some body shops can work wonders at repairing what you have. Plastic parts they heat up and push back etc (bumpers). I had a good experience when I had all my London knocks and vandalism removed after I moved to the country side.

With warranty repairs and paint jobs within the guaranteed warranty repairs, dealers have one set of names and another set which aren't Seat / Cupra approved. Independent repair shops. You are into local knowledge and recommendations. It worked for me with the price coming down by a half. Four years later no sign of the work done. That was the local Seat dealer that put me onto the place that deals with all the local knocks and scrapes. Other than that a round journey of 80 miles and twice the price. If you are keeping the car you may not be worried about this aspect.
