Hi

I'm curently looking at buying a 07 Model Year Seat Leon Reference Sport, although the two I've looked at, do not have passenger airbag switch's.

I've read all through the search engine and phoned SEAT, who say they will not fit one.

My question is, has anyone ever had one fitted aftermarket?

Cheers John :)

That switch is the main reason I've had to have a factory order placed. I can't believe it's an option, even the LCR had it.

This question popped up on another VAG forum recently and the question was asked as to whether this could be switched via VAG-COM.
It's quite possible as all it consists of is a switch activated by the igintion key somewhere into the loom behind the glove box.
I wonder if any VAG-COM experts would know what block to look in to see if it could be done?

My car however has this option but I don't exactly have any use for it!!!

Cheers Guys for the feedback

The search continues, seems pretty poor show on SEAT, FORD had no problems carry out the work as long as I signed a disclaimer.

John

Seat say it can't be retro-fitted even by a dealer.
There was a case of someone on here that ordered a car and it didn't turn up with one. I don't know if they ever had any luck?
