Passenger Window one touch?

Cheers for all the reply's, I think the concensus is that it passenger one touch is a no go situation.

Obviously Seat think passengers can't handle complicated things like one touch windows.

Oh well looks like the wife will keep bugging the s t out of me to keep closing her window

Not a good idea as she doesn't have a licence and decided she hated driving after a few lessons.

So the fun is all mine :shades:

And yes she will moan about having to hold the switch to close the window.

Cheers guys, the one touch hasn't been working on my beeza for a few months now on the drivers side drivers window control have just tried it and it works , didn't want to pay to get it fixed and its really been annoying me.

As far as I know, all leons only have the one touch operation from the drivers door switch pack for both driver and passanger windows. The switch in the passanger door does not do one touch.
My Cupra was like this and every Leon I have worked on at Dealership is like this.

spot on - as it's only needed one touch to assist the driver to concentrate on driving

as for passenger they can hold a switch down - what else they got to do ?

My cheap and cheerful 1.4 s has on touch on both sides.Its on a 53 plate

If you want to reset the One Touch function all you need to do is with the window in the fully 'up' position hold the window switch up for a few seconds, you may hear a small click, one Touch is now set.

Sometimes looses One Touch if the battery has gone flat/disconnected.

It that one touch on both sides when you sit in the drivers seat or have you actually got one touch control of the passenger window if your in the passenger seat?

Perhaps someone with ETKA could look up if there are two passenger door switches available?

Did anyone manage to get one touch window working with the passenger switch on the passenger side of the car??? - pleae please not the driver one touch switch,m but the passenger switch.

Ive got an 02 LCR and ive just been out to to try the reset thing and i could feel the double click of the two posistions on the drivers side switches but the passenger side only has one posistion.

The long answer to this is: After a discussion with SEAT Camberley the final answer is that One touch doesn't work from the passenger side window switch. They said that the switch on the passengers side only has a single position & even if you swapped the switch for a dual position item as fitted to the drivers side it still wouldn't work as the window controller would have to be re-programmed somehow.

The short answer is: Give up...one touch on the passenger side won't work...ever...

Unless you do what I did & sell the car & buy a 2006, A3... One touch works fine on both the driver's & passenger sides

in that case a reprogramme may just be a case of the vag.com action and purchase of new switch, though wouldn't a window controller from an A3 work in a Seat? as practically the same car. another thing to add to list of wants.

I'm not sure if you would get very far with the Vag.com as the option to enable the passenger side window switch one touch just isn't there.
