So another one bites the dust with this issue it seems. Today of all days, cold and wet, my regulator cable snapped. Looks like it had been on its way out based on how frayed it was when I took all apart tonight.

From what I can tell all I actually need are the cables (two?) and maybe the little pully they are attached too, its a little worn.

Eurocarparts seem to list the complete set (images shows the pillars to) for £46. I can see on eBay there are cable "kits" for less than half of that though!

However it seems to show more cables that I expect, generic image?

Just wanting thoughts on the eBay item or if anyone has purchased a similar kit online before and has good reports?

If I can spend £20 and not £40 id be happy.

I had the same issue mate, I spent a while looking at the repair kits but in the end went for a replacement from a breakers for £20, easier job too!

Trust me so much easier to by the set drill out the rivets use the bolts nuts and washers provided in the set from car parts and then put back in. Can be a bit fiddly when putting door card back on found it easier to undo the bottom bolts and use a flat head screwdriver to position when door card is on. I tried the 10 pound kit from eBay and they are good but just trying to get it onto the standard regulators and door card I couldn't use anything with enough force to align it properly it kept coming off when the motor was attached
