Passenger Windows Issues

hi peeps,

Got a problem with the passenger window........

Basically....when you put it up and hold the button and put it all the way up it virtually closes all the way, in fact to the naked untrained eye it is up.......

but if you press the switch up again it will go up a further 1cm or so. Bit annoying tbh!!!

It happens with both switches on drivers or passengers side.......

any ideas at all? its a bit annoying, as if not properly closed then it could leak!!

naaa it don't run out of puff at all, its fine, just stops there, then u press it again and it just does the very last cm!

yeah, its the regulator or somthing. 70 quid i wont spend as winter is comming and have no europe trips planned any time soon.

mine went in my old ibiza cupra sport a few years back and the scrappys couldn't help, its practically the whole assembly you need, the motor wasn't seperate. i'm trying to remember how much it was, about a hundred or somethin for the part alone. perhaps if yours hasn't gone completely then you should put up with it till it goes, but then it might decide to pack in when the window is down and that would be a right pain in the arse mate.
