Hello!

Currently looking at both the 150ps DSG and the 184ps manual. Just a couple of questions what sort of deals are people getting on PCP plans? and also any luck with dealers matching quotes from Drive The Deal etc?

At the moment I drive a VW Polo GTI 1.4 TSI and needing a change.

Thanks!

Try the Golf GTD, they were coming out silly cheap on PCP when I looked the other week

Do you have a rough idea of how much? Was thinking about one but the high list price put me off...

Hi Stuart, I just ordered a 27k 184ps SC FR through the arval work scheme on a 3 year / 20k per year fully maintained contract for £450pm if that helps

I ordered my 150psfr black titanium pack tech pack comfort pack. Free servicing for 3 yrs 10k a year mileage Full 30% dep £279 per month. Reduced alloy protection. Good deal I thought.

£345.55 PCM on a 3-year/ 10k miles PA contract with a 10% deposit (before negotiations)

The high residual value is keeping the monthly rental at a decent level. A standard GT TDI 140 on the same profile works out more expensive per month!

Audi A3 may be worth a look also, prices on that just confirmed at £24,375.00 OTR for the 184PS TDI Sport, again I suspect the high residual value will help keep the monthly PCP re-payment low.

It works for some more than others. You pay for the depreciation and the interest on what's outstanding.

There is no VAT though.

Most people go into it because they feel more protected by it than a HP setup because of the GFV but under the termination and repossession rules you can end a HP and hand the car back if you have paid at least half of the balance.

Try drivethedeal.com I went through these and will be paying 300 a month on my 184 3 Door PS FR when it arrives in October...
