Although i'm a chef i was'nt working in cullenary department in the pub , i was then head of security the owner jed was running the place and cook.

Eh? No, sorry mate, didn't see that reply. TBH, never been in the travellers - i take it you mean Lucy Graham singing? I've seen her down at the Old Star and the Half Moon in Collingham - one of my best mates used to go out with her for ages (although not now)

seems like i had a similar problem i found a pipe hanging off solid metal type with rubber mounts was not fixed so rattled about! it was on the engine side closest to the dash. still got slight vibs now think its behind dash tho mayb stereo fitting gotta check it out oh and finally got a rattle from the vents when the fan is on full blast like somethings fell in there?????

I had a noise from the fan yesterday for about half an hour, sounded like a leaf had got stuck in the fan - gone away now though...

hey guys i know its an old thread but was at santapod at the weekend on my seat leon 1.9tdi pd engine 130bhp with a van arken upto 170bhp. went down the quarter mile and my engine mount sheared clean!!! its the rear mount that went. got so many awful noises!!! all fixed now but is there anywhere for an uprated stronger engine mount????

I believe you can get replacement bushes from powerflex, but you will need a new mount to actually put the bush in to. I can't believe a dogbone mount snapped in two. That's a new one on me. Got any pics?

unfortunately no pics buddy. seat had thrown it away before i got the chance!! buggers. i'm just thinkin it was a doggy engine mount in the first place?? bit worryin that it snapped though. the worst bit was when it snapped it took out a coolant hose and knocked the power steering coupling onto the pump so it had no power steering and lost alot of coolant! alarms went crazy!! lol

Mine is very noisy when accelerating, like a growling. I put some foam between the fuel filter and boost pipe but think it has all worn away! If anyone can try get some pictures of a broken mount or a worn one, it would be super!

My 06 fr tdi ibiza is the same vibrating through the gearbox when accelerating and a knocking coming from front left when goin over bumps. The dealer checking the mounts for me when the new turbo is being fitted.
