PD130 boost pipe PArt no?

Does anyone have a price or the part number for the plastic boost hose that runs along the left side of the engine bay???

ah bugger,

was looking @ that part today @ local SEAT place, wish id taken note now. i needed the top part (90degree bend) and a clip coz mine has broken and the boost pipe keeps coming away from the manifold giving me boost leak!!

whats the prob wit urs out of interest mate??

Bit of a long story....

anyway... i had a boost gauge fitted in that pipe, all was fine untill i fitted my new FMIC, My boost gauge had become very noisy and i noticed i had a boost leak where i had tapped into the boost pipe, this was because the car was boosting slightly more at higher revs due to the new FMIC.

So i disconnected the boost gauge and wrapped loads of tape, and sel-amalgamating tape over the hole that was drilled, but im not 100% sure that its not leaking, so im going to order a whole new pipe instead.

Also i did have a dumpvalve fitted (yes i know!!!) but iv disconected it but it is still plumbed into that pipe, so i want to get rid of that aswell as it gets on my nerves!!!

I have just seen this thread now-already got my new boost pipe and threw away the invoice!!

Why not get a nice shiny boost pipe from Allards? and get rid of the EGR valve at the same time. Allards have a pipe to replace where the egr valve sits and and it also has a specific hole so that you can plumb a boost gauge into it. Just a thought chap it will also look way better than the standard crappy plastic one.See here

that looks quality mate nice and shiney like the cupra tdi one wish 20vt pipe went on top but it doesen't ow well

Price is around 25€
