PD130 vs Cupra

Oh I forgot to say I did a 9:47 at the Nurburgring in my STANDARD Ibiza FR 130. . Faster than a lot of more powerful cars.

I am very impressed mate!!! i would still rather have a hybrid turbo and fmic and clutch and big brakes. i concider myself to be a reasonable driver but sensible at the same time i know my cars limits!!

Whats has the more efficent intercooler the cupra orginal or the forge/allard front mount?
if i was going to go for a bigger turbo is there variable boost controller or variable map system that is avaliable to programe an eco mode. Does a variable controler work well with the ecu system and would the injectors/ecu compensate or will i hit a fuel cut?

Cupra one is more than upto the job. ITs thicker than the Forge one. Not too sure about the Allards one. No one has needed to upgrade the Cupra one.

what was the out come of this decision?

I have just bought a 2004 Leon Cupra TDI for a good price (totaly Stock I think) and wondered if I have made the right decision buying this over a 130bhp non cupra

I guess they were talking about mk4 ibizas,,,

mk1 leon FR and cupra share the same 150hp engine, just a different badging.
