Just a general question really, does your engine temp always rise to halfway on the gauge pretty quickly from cold then sit there pretty much bang on halfway in whatever conditions?

this is how mines always been just wondered if everyones the same?

tbh, yes - that is the way it should be. If it goes above 90 then you'll probably have issues somewhere.

Yep mine also , but its doin it quite often ,if the car is running and is stationery after about 10/15 mins it shoots up and the warning light comes on , no diagnosticlight , so i knock the engine off release the header tank cap too release the pressure ( this is what ive been advised to do ) after that it goes back to normal ..

is this a problem thats goin bite me in the ass at a later date :shrug: :shrug:

Mine was like that when the fuse blew on the fans, are your fans working?
