performance problem

hi everyone i got a 2004 lcr and had a 03 one about 6 months ago but the new one just does not seem to have the power the old one has they were both standard any ideas without spending loads on rolling roads thanks david

How's the service history? Sometimes the greatest power gains can be acheived with a thorough service from a specialist.

Try resetting the throttle body etc, do a search since i always forget but I think basically you just disconnect battery for 5mins and then only turn on the ignition till noises under bonnet stop! Then start aand use as normal, oh and Dont forget radio code!!

yeah it has full service history all by seat next one due in 4k

i dissconnected the battery last week toas i also have a problem with the locking an still does not seem better

central locking not operating the drivers door but works with the key

Could be a split D/V, blown coil pack or a knackered MAF

but surely all of them would make it run rough? it runs fine just lacks power
