sorry mate,im talking about the forge one.
it holds boost well, better in fact, in lower revs,1st 2nd 3rd 4th is great, but on 5th and 6th, i notice the loss in boost...

jeez man thats not good.. sometimes you need the extra push in 5th or 6th when overtaking etc.. did you notice any loss in boost when you had the standard TIP fitted ?? so... based on that would you recommend it on my LCR which at the mo just has the 007dv and green panel filter fitted?

has anyone else has this problem ??

Thats good power from a stage 1,will got 270hp/300lbs from mine on a stage 2,but it really needs a 3 inch downpipe! It will have to wait till after my trip to the ring.Top bloke though will is,ive been there for 2 re-maps now!!!

Will managed to get the figures in my sig with no probs like overboosting etc...
Driveability is perfect just probs with wheelspin which seems less now i've fitted powerflex bushes in my dogbone.
I never expected those figures from a stage 1 when i went to Will. The car is running well though, managed 228bhp standard. :)

That power must be helped mainly be that Powertec filter mate ;)

Went their with an over boost problem, Will worked his magic, turned out the car had had a crap map on it before i bought it, they had just turn the turbo up withou doing anything with the timing ect. Started with 224BHP and 250 lb/ft

After 255BHP and 300lb/ft (Will showed me the graph and because of the heat from so many runs investigating the problem and how hot it was that day, it dropped off as the ECU killed it due to heat - he said it would easy make 265BHP if ran again on a cooler day so the drop off of the curve is smooth)

Good idea. Should keep heat soak down a bit. U still impressed with your FMIC ? :p

Yeah that's what I'm thinking in the colder months it'll work well and I'll sort the cold air feed to left fog.

And yeah very impressed with the fmic since it's been on.
Was more of a job than hoped to fit but now it's on it's very solid and the car seems to love it.

270 bhp, 312 ft torque - p-torque stage 1 with autobahn tip, forge dv and jetex cone filter

:)

Interesting...I now own the OP's car with the P-Torque map. Was recently told by a VAG specialist that it was probably mapped while on a lower grade of fuel as the timing wasn't advancing much, so could have probably got a little more than 250 BHP.

OH MY GOD!! What a difference a remap makes!!!

Wowwww!!

Had my LCR 225 mapped today by Will at P.Torque (TOP man!!) and by god its unreal now!!

He did a road test, then a dyno run standard to make sure the car was ok. It produced 217bhp and 210 lb ft torque. Went for a sandwich and a drink at sainsburys, went back an hour later and...

264.2 bhp and 295 Lb ft torque!!! (will post graph up in a bit!) Absolute animal now, i love it... Sooo driveable, yet so so quick! (well to me anyway lol) Anyone considering a map, DO IT! And anyone thinking of using P.Torque, DO IT!! Excellent service and price!

Only issue? Coilpack lol!! Coilpack number 2 had a slight slight missfire (you'll see on the graph) So ive ordered a new set of 4 and am having them fitted tomorrow (at least then i'll have 3 spare lol)

Remap=amazing!
P.Torque and Will=awesome :)

Cheers guys, Darren
