Hi there, has anyone on here got ant experience or reviews of remaps done by Performance torque / P Torque. Spoke to a guy there today and had a good chat, they look like they have done alot of mk2 leon cupra's before and said they look after 2 leons in the PTCC. Appear to have good experience of the cars but there a good distance away and want to be sure before taking my car anywhere.

The car is between stage 2+ & stage 3. Currently has a largely under achieving stage 2+ map from my local guy.

My local remapping guy doesnt appear to be up too the job. Called r-tech and personally didnt like there attitude and they only wanted to slate certain contradictory branded modifcations fitted to my car. Such as induction kits & GFB diverter valves. However i know people have had good results from r-tech.

Already had 2 remaps, stage 1 good result and poor stage 2+ result (30-40bhp) short of the average stage 2+ and car is running perfectly. personally Not keen on revo & amd due to high prices and other experienced companies seem to get similar results so looking at different options.

Any info is good.

thanks

I had P-torque stage 1 on my last Cupra with a full BCS turbo-back and Neuspeed P-flo intake which made similar power to what Revo and APR claim. Got before/after dyno runs and had a good chat with Will.

Thats who I spoke to today 'Will' seemed very knowledgeable, mine only had a full miltek cat back exhaust system and was 310bhp with stage 1 angel tuning.

I went on a few dyno days out with the Scooby gang and never saw less than 320 bhp with that map and mods. It was a nice smooth map too rather than aggressive delivery of power, slightly kinder on the clutch.

Im sure p-torque are good at what they do, personally though i've never heard of them.

I'm sure Niki would map it with your mods, but his advice is to help you get the best from your car and it's hardware. He maps these cars day in, day out, and knows exactly which hardware works well with a setup, and which piece of hardware will hold the car back

If he was telling you a product was poor in favour of his own product, i would understand your concern, but Niki would have told you to go for the OE Rev G valve which is more than adequate for even the most extreme Stage 2+ setups.

You won't find a more genuine, honest and passionate tuner than Niki.

Noobie :p;)

If you look in the forum index Will has his own section, hes been an SCN supporter for years and Id say has been one of the more popular tuners in respect of the MK1s.

P-Torque are spot on mate, Will is a very knowledgeable and nice guy.

I went to them for my Mk4 Ibiza remapping and he did a great job, the car never missed a beat after the map.

I went from Yorkshire to Wolverhampton and I wouldn't have travelled that distance unless I was happy the guys knew their stuff.

I don't know what they are like with the Mk2 hardware but the old 1.8T in my Ibiza was great when they'd finished with it.

I'm surprised there are people on here that haven't heard of them being as they have their own sub forum here
