If you have something relevant to your car you're stuck with what to do with it when you sell the car - particularly if the model name is not continued. I used to have 368CRX on a CRX, sold it a while ago for good money after I sold the car, now CRX's are fairly cheap who would want to send big money just for a plate?

With initials/names they only mean something to you or someone who knows you - loads of very good ones though.

Why not pick up a cheap Irish plate wth as few a digits as possible. I have RXI91 but with straight lines for the I and 1 - looks like RXl9l (actually looks better than this). Means I can run a small plate with legal letters/spacing - tidied up the front of my old Impreza and is now tidying up the back of my motorbike.

Alternatively get a 'local' old plate, these will never depreciate.

Used to have G11XXR (GllXXR) on a GSXR1000 but got pulled loads as it was on a 'letterbox' style plate which the police hate.

It was 19 years ago buddy...
And forum member @Craig! hasn’t been active on the forum since 2018.

@Zak Y; when resurrecting an old, dormant discussion topic and asking a specific forum member a question, it’s always worth checking if that forum member’s still active on the forum; that way, you’ll have a good idea whether or not they’re likely to respond 🙂. I’d say in this instance, it’s unlikely they will.
