petrol cap problem

hi i hope i am in the write forum sorry if i am not

i have a problem with the petrol cap on my aroza !!! it locka and unlocks and turnes the problem is that it will not undo/ come off !!!! and i need petrol very soon !!! it just turnes round and round can any one advise me to what is the problem ?

have you held the cap and turned the key to stop it spinning round and round ?

Hold the petrol cap with one hand and put the key in the lock. Whilst still holding the cap turn the key anti-clockwise to unlock it. Take the key out and then turn the cap anti-clockwise and it should come off.

I so could have done with this thread yesterday, when i was trying to fill up. i don't know why but it took me a while to figure it out. In the end it did it!

Dig out the owners manual. Its tells you everything from removing the petrol cap, to becoming the next US president
