Was such a stupid mistake by me! I was in morrissons petrol garage and my gf was topping up her car. I went into petrol station first and drove straight through the pumps and reversed around the corner so the side of my car was facing the front of hers so i could talk to her. Well as she got out i was looking at her whilst slowly still creeping backwards. As i was creeping back there was a pole behind me and i edged into it.
I didnt believe i had hit it so got out to see that there was white paint and scratches all down the corner of the rear bumper. I was sooo angry that i had just done such a stupid thing that i just started swearing aloud in the petrol station. Walked over to where the towels are stored to wipe the fuel down and used a bit of spit and elbow grease there and then with everyone still filling up! lol i didnt care at the time so i just carried on cleaning away.
Got it all clean and looking like the above after using t-cut also (removed fack all of the scratch though!!!! Still peed off too.
I reckon the finishing compound will do a good job of it, I find the swirl remover a little too harsh.
Just to give you an idea mate, the pictures below are of my dad's car, note in the first 2 pictures it has been keyed, and in the last 2 pictures watch the scratches disappear!
Yea boot light was a bihatch! only got it linked to my rear lights so i have to have my sidelights on to get it to work but thats only temporary till i can find another permanent live without going to the interiror light.
