• Hi Guest There will be essential maintenance on the server on Monday 10th November from 5am meaning the website will be offline for a period of time. We will do everything to ensure the downtime is kept to a minimum.
Here is a quick one for the time being, and hopefully will be able to do a better one later on. BTW I think your exhaust is going to be too low and might catch.

thats wicked lads! thought that was quite funny seeing it lowered without an exhaust! yeah i'm hoping to get the front dropped 40m and the back only 20-25 mm, so the exahust won't be in toooo much danger! so would be really apreciated if you bothered trying to do the front more than the back, dunno iff its possible, can't say i've ever photoshoped anything. cheers though

pah! its never too low, i cant get out of silly wee car parks like so:

*fk coilovers* :D

yeah that is the way its ment to be! i thought that too though, but it's apparantly the only way it goes on, basically because the original exhaust is hidden it's a lot higher up, which in turn means the whole back box is higher up, so with the magnex, in order for it to fit it has to stick below the bumper meaning it looks very low! but yeah i just want to lower it less at the back, my old cupra was less at the back and it looked fine, just gave it a meen stance!

Has anyone got a part number for this LCR splitter say off an old invoice as my local Seat dealer can`t find a part number for it........... dealers don`t you just luv them........

heh 19.97 from Seat in Coventry. So buying one tomorrow! They should be able to find it kermit, are you asking for the Leon Cupra R front splitter?

oooo just thought, does anyone have any ideas on how to fit a glove box into the dash somewhere. Don't get me wrong i like the safety aspect of an airbag but i have no where to put my travel sweets and various items with no value.

remove the tray underneath and unscrew the air bag

the hole it leaves is glovebox shape :) all you need is a box oh and some form of diabling the airbag or resistor has been used in the past

precaution : remove your battery first for half n hour and be prepared the screws are usually fecking tight

Don't think so mate. It would look a bit silly if you were to mount it on the bottom of the standard one. Was thinking of putting it on my prefacelift 1.4 beeza, but opted against it, as the standard splitter isn't really deep enough. Was thinking of getting rid of the beeza splitter and replacing it completly with a deep VR6 splitter tho, never got round to doing it but recon it would look really good, so might be an idea to try and do that [B)]

This is what the VR6 deep lip spoiler looks like:

I had the LCR splitter fitted before the car was lowered, and already it used to scrape when going up multistory car parks, as the lowest point of the splitter, is also sticking out the furthest, therefore scraping first.

I took it off once I lowered the car as the ground clearance was REALLY poor for a daily driver. I did put it back on for couple of the photo's, to see what its like. And IMO looks really mean, but I just cant have it as the car would scrape too much, so after taking the pics, I took it back off
