something very wrong if you have to do that.
Sure the wheel bolts are standard?

Er .... nevermind just me being dopey :doh: I thought yesterday this thread was about the centre caps/bushings on the alloys, not the bolt covers. This is what happens when I skip on sleep. :rolleyes:

Wow this is an old thread, and I was part of the original :funk:

The tool should be with the jack inside your spare wheel and looks like this...

It just pushes over the cover and locks onto it allowing you to pull it off.

It has the number 8D0 012 244 A printed on it if that helps.

had a look tonight and i have one in there. :D. am going to nip in to the dealer tomorrow and point out to the dealer how they are removed....

I had the VWones with the hexi hole in the middle on my Corrado, and gonna get somr efor the Golf and Leon too. They look good, and theyre easy to take off with an allen key or similar.
