I took mine off and my Cupra which is imperial blue and it looks really good and if you heat it up a little with heat gun or hairdryer it hardly leaves any sticky residue behind

done my driver door. quite easy :D only problem is its took some paint off at the bottom :( the only reason its done this is because someone broke into my car by bending the top of the door over. i'll get this sorted asap by a cheap mate.

cupragsy.. i'm starting to peel off the vinyl at the back side window, did you just pull it off from the door side first and it just comes off behind the window or not?? or did you take the window out?

**** it, i;m doing it tomorrow. Good shout on the heat, might help on keeping the paint on the car lol.

its hard work! got the hair dryer out in the end lol. i do think it looks better imo. but each to their own! was too dark to get pics.

the only problem is getting the back vinyl off around the window, as its a b*tch to get at. i'm gonna take the plastic off the inside to get to it better.

next stop... halfords for some touch up paint where it came off due to the break in. temporary measure until i get it sprayed by my mate.

overall.. a lot of hard work, tiny bit of paint came off, but worth it :)

end of the day, you can always buy the vinyl and put it back on again lol

A little off topic, lol. Anyone know what wheels these are?? Looks like they're brembo friendly aswell.

They look like porsche wheels to me.

As for the vynil I am doing this too. as said, if it doesn't look good I'll stick new sticker over.
Not sure actually how its stuck on at the rear window on the cordoba actually. guess time will tell

more a heat gun and gentle perseverance

the more you attack it the more likely you are to chip the paint under it - not good

had mine black then carbon when windows tinted but all off just plain now

no paint came off mine and i started peeling from door end first towards the window as far as i could get. Then started to peel it downwards very slowly so it didnt break but the standard material is quite tough so you should be ok.

And i would put a pic up but my car is in the garage with a hole in my sump so cant help you there but it looks really nice on the blue cupra.

And not sure you can see it from this pic if it works.http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/photo.php?pid=30075079&id=1432051014

The paint on mine is already chipped. Been touching it up with black nail varnish. Was thinking I needed a little more green on the wee beastie.

Cupra Gsy how did you get a hole in the sump ???

Probably because apparently you guys there in the UK have entire bricks on the road!! :cartman:

Read about a couple of people on here that cracked their sump in the last month....
