Popular Modifications!?

So ive just bought myself an nice red Altea FR - i bloody love the thing! But of course, i want to start changing/ improving as all us petrol heads like to do!

So, could you all tell me what popular mods are; for example:

1. Remove 'tray' from airbox
2. Change interior light (which i think someone has already done on mine!)

So what are other things that people suggest, ive heard honeycomb grilles being mentioned etc.

Little things - Wind deflectors in the windows
better speakers
honeycomb grill

more full on mods- Lowering springs/coilover suspension
bigger/wider wheels
345mm front brakes
straight through exhaust
remap

See my "lowered the Altea" thread about 6/7 threads down,i've done about £3k's worth of mods on mine! Might give you some ideas!

Don't plan on doing many more mods as I'm not sure whether we'll keep it long term (fancy an R32 so her indoors might want my GT). Thus far I have...

- Put in my Zenec satnav HU with a genuine dash fascia (looks amazing compared to factory CD player)
- Reversing camera
- Put in a glovebox light (can't believe it came without one)
- Fitted Leon clocks with white background and large MFA screen
- Alpine budget speakers (easy to change)

Not so many Altea mod threads so nice to see what people are doing!

Yeah checked out your thread Where / what is the honeycomb grill off/from?

Im just thinking little mods at the moment - tweaks shal we call them!

Also looked at yours. Its where i noticed mine already has the interior light you upgraded too - is that because mines a new'er plate or something? (57)

i got my honeycomb from a Seat dealer on ebay , the interior light in mine is out of a polo of a similar age i think your right the newer ones have that as standard

Yep dealer for the honeycomb grill! i was lucky and got one of here before they shut the for sale section!

ment to say the honey comb is infact a bolt on behind the standard grill its held on by 2 screws at the bottom , oh and getting grill out is fun
