they're brembos
same clearance issues as regular GT junior calipers.
not a hope of them fitting behind stock cupra 16's imho

badge snobbery or not, its a pretty dam coo, set up, if your into the german styling i.e. porsche wheels and detailing like some of the VW lot, then personaly i think its a great mod.

porsche calipers are made by brembo, think the clearance issues are even worse for the porsche calipers, being 5mm worse than the brembo ones, also the fittings arent the same from memory

thats very true, but if your into oem/oe modding then these would be the only choice to not having to go after market i suppose though.

I have done this conversion before on my cupra.
Sadly crashed the car so someone out ther has probably brought them from the scrappy. The cars for sale on ebay being broken for spares in colchester, may still have the brakes on it.
I used boxter front calipers, purchased neuspeed conversion brackets and hoses for golf and custom made a 4mm spacer, used alcon 315mmx28mm discs, and sent hub away and had custom bells made by BG developments. Used 17" team dynamics pro race 1 alloys with standard offset and had loads of clearance from caliper.
An easy conversion to do, once you have done the hard stuff ! have part numbers for discs, design number for the hats, pm me for all the part numbers and this set up will fit straight.

hooch did you buy the setup from breakers? got all the receipts for the bits if you want them for your records. had only done about 500 miles with them, hit kerb at about 60mph, so would check for damage before fitting ! p.s got your old k04 kit !

Hooch - I would check the brakes if your using them they got spanked f'kin hard when i crashed hence the reason they were left on the car, got some photos of them hanging off my motor when i stacked it - not to healthy, if someone tells me how I will post the pictures
