Afternoon all,

have a small problem with my cupra, maybe someone might be able to help.

I've fitted the new split-r dump valve to the cupra, and i'm pretty sure this is causing my problems, or something i've done whilst setting it up!

basically, if i only put a small amount of throttle on, you can hear the dump valve as if there's boost leak, but as soon as you put a small amount more on the throttle, it immediately stops and the turbo spools up... maybe the split-r spring isn't setup correctly??

Also, sometimes the car DOESN'T come on boost at all, drives like a 1.8 N/A car! Turn the engine off, turn it back on, and boost is back. very strange... any ideas guys?

cheers, rhys

is this only since you changed the dv to the split R?
if so, check you have set it up correctly etc ..... (needs setting up to run right)
if not, start checking vac hoses, ic pipes etc etc ....
