Possible gear problem (DSG)

Ok try & keep this small, recently purchased & noticed when I’m in D sometimes it doesn’t change gear or seems as though it doesn’t want to even though the car holds high revs then eventually changes after I put more acceleration down, is this normal?

mine does the same but only holds til about 2600-700ish rpm probably and then changes. it should be normal tbh

Every DSG car I've had has done this from a cold start. Silly question, but it is in D and not S?

I’ve also noticed when I accelerate hard in D the engine light comes on is this normal it’s only briefly in for a few seconds (flashes) then stops & doesn’t happen again.

Are you sure it's the engine light not traction control light?!

Regarding the gear shifting , is it on hot weather happening or at any weather conditions? Gear megatronic may cause this issue I guess

I've only been driving in a DSG for a week, but I've noticed this too, if you let go of the throttle a little bit, it should change up and cruise a little easier.
