1st off, hi all, I'm new on this site cause I just bought a Seat Leon Cupra R 05 plate (40K on the clock), remapped to 270BHP, with a forge re-circulating dump valve and a K&N panel filter.
The car has a forge re-circulating dump valve and today I noticed a sound that didn't used to be there I'm sure. When I got it I'm sure when the turbo spooled you could hear it this like little whirring noise (my mate tells me this is normal). I recently booted it down the motorway (somewhere) and hit a large speed. Today when I was driving to and back from work when the turbo kicks in it sounds like a hissing noise almost like there's not enough air getting in and it's sucking through a partially blocked hole or it's possibly leaking I don't know. I haven't really put my foot down enough to tell if I'm loosing boost though.
I know it isn't one of the noisy forge valves as the I asked the guy what type it was and he said that the Leon engines don't really like those types. Not sure exactly what one it is though, I think it might be the 007 valve but will need to check.
Does anyone have any idea's on what this might be?
