Evening all.

When I had my ko3, always had a big flat spot between 3-4k then pick up before boost dropping off.

Went ko3s a few weeks back, reset the ecu amd n75 gotm18-19psi, pulled like a train for much longer, no flat spot all was good.

How ever, been runnin a bit poo last two days ( ever since I filled up last , coincidence?)
Was getting the odd pop and bang, checked a few pipes and found PVC pipe split so changed it.

Reset all the crap again and getting a nice 21 psi peak now in all gears how ever

Loosing power big time after 4.5 k. Still holds boost just feels like it doesn't want to rev any more. Unplugged the maf and this made no difference.

Thinking mayb fuel pump ? Running out of fuel perhaps.

Gotta be honest it's royally pissing me off,,going to go back to rs turbos soon, more reliable me thinks. And a lot Easter to fix when they do go wrong.

Cheers folks. Sorry for the essay.

Ok ill look into. It does feel very much like its running lean ( having been brought up with kjet you quickly discover what lean smells like aswell lol )

Tbh I'm getting a bit lost with this motor. Was great when it was staged one, but just becoming an arse whole to keep on the road and I'm properly bored of 20mpg.

Might borrow a wide band to prove the theory before wasting another 100 on th car.

Got a brand new walbro 255 that was destined for my escort, might chuck that in it.

Cleaned the maf out. So much smoother of boost but still got the same prob.
Tried a different set of coil packs, no joy.

Thinking it may be a lamba problem as my emissions failed on the mot and it never wants to do more than 20mpg unless on a run.

Do you still have the cat on the car? Could have failed and blocked the exhaust slightly? I had the same issue on mine, and after I sorted that out it still ran poor. But I then found that 2 of the injector seals were leaking, replaced all 8 seals and has been running like a dream since!! :) But my issue was very similar to yours.
