pre amp gone

hi i drive a ibiza chill 2001 and me head unit has stoped working (no sound at all) i took it 2 a friend and he said that the pre amp has gone in it. wat can i did i need tunes????

If the internal amp has died it would probabily be cheaper to pick up a 2nd hand unit rather then getting it repaired!

yeah thats probaly the best idea.

Not to sure on the layout of the dash board but apparently Audi head units fit in the space if its like the cupra layout and they are more powerfull.

I have installed an alpine head unit in mine under the steering wheel in the cover that comes off to hide the electrics. Looks pretty good and i have my sub and 6x9's running now.
