problem found? solution...??

Right as many of you know I've been having a few to say the least problems with my cupra

now one of them is cutting out when I stop intermittently

and the other is an amplified turbo whistle and dv valve noise even though i am running standard filter box, etc ect

also limp on and off....

I jacked the car up today and had a look underneath and the followed the pancake pipe round to the rubber hose under the engine and it seems to be covered in oil quite alot! so i followed it up a bit more and the part were it connects to the metal tube with the cir-clip has a lip that seems to have broken.

I'm not sure if this is causing it too leak boost would the oil be an indication and could this be why my turbo sounds so bloody loud

The oil is the sign of a leak, yes will be the noise and the reason for the boost leak.

out interest what would be the best course of action for repair or would you suggest a new metal tube

Not sure if it can be repaired tbh, never had to do mine.

metal pipe that goes down't back of the engine, need to be under the car and its the flexi bit between the pancake pipe and that pipe
