problem with LHD headlights?

ive been looking into buying black angel eyes from germany. (dosent help that i cant find out much about them because i cant read german but thats a different story) i know they will be lhd but what will the implications of tht be? im looking at fitting HID's to them too if that makes a differnece? cheers:D

the beam kick up pattern will be the wrong way and you will blind on comming drivers as shown below with a crafty diagram lol :)

right hand drive car

see how the kick up goes to the left to illuminate the pavement

left hand drive car

___/ ___/

see how the kick up goes the the right hence blinding on comming vehicles and will fail an m.o.t when they check headlight alignment

hope this helps you need rhd ones mate, unless someone has managed to convert them by stripping them down and changing them internally, but thats just hassle and better getting rhd ones.

yeah that crossed my mind just couldnt think how to word it. a lot of people have said they get flashed when they have HID's as people think they have there high beam on so will it realy make much difference ?:confused:

think imight just HID my normal headlights then :p i dont fancy paying £255 quid for headlights haha

lol yeah when you can get hid kits for £40 delivered now from diane shop on ebay
had some on my mk3 before i got rid for the mk2 ive got now they were great, id get some for my mk2 but dont want to spend much on it as im waiting to get a leon tdi fr+ :) now i know u can get angel eye headlights for leons and convert them to hids :)
